MISSION, TX (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — A 20-year-old is facing the possibility of life in prison after he is suspected of stabbing a victim multiple times.
Ernesto Garcia Jr. Is looking at two charges of burglary with the intent of committing a felony. Police say earlier this month he and an accomplice tried to burglarize a home in Mission.
During the incident, police say a victim was stabbed multiple times in the chest. The victim's grandmother was knocked down, causing her to injure a shoulder.
"We currently are looking for one more individual, Ventura Villareal Jr.," Lt. Jody Tittle of the Mission Police Department said. "If anyone has any information on his whereabouts, they are encouraged to call Mission Crimestoppers at 956-581-TIPS."
Garcia is being held on $1,000,000 bond total for the two charges.
