One third of American adults are considered obese, but new research suggests that those rates may have stabilized.
Data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey shows obesity rates have been steadily climbing since the 1980's in both men and women. Researchers say these numbers suggest the obesity rate may not be continuing to rise as quickly as previous decades. Especially for women, but more needs to be done to lower the number of people who are overweight.
