BROWNSVILLE, TX (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Brownsville investigators have issued arrest warrants for six individuals believed to be involved in the murder of a man shot to death in his vehicle.
Investigators along with Homeland Security agents issued the warrants for Abraham Alegria Ruiz, 27, Christian Omar Camero, 29, Diego Armando Segovia Rivera, 25, Edgar Javier Tafoya Robles, 24, Javier Garza Medrano, 37, and Jose Luis Ibarra Morales, 30, in the murder of Juan Manuel Ocanas Barrientos.
Barrientos was shot to death on January 11th on the 3400 block of Clavel Street and detectives believe he was mistaken for someone else.
The six individuals wanted for his murder are believed to be part of a transnational criminal organization, are Mexican nationals and believed to be hiding in Mexico.
