The Valley will wake up to patchy fog once again Wednesday morning. But that fog will soon clear away to a few clouds and warm, moderate winds. On Tuesday, the peak gusts were 28 mph in Brownsville and McAllen and 32 mph in Harlingen. Those winds are likely to be a bit stronger on Wednesday, peaking at 35 mph.
Moderate southerly winds will also drive high temperatures up on Wednesday and Thursday. The Upper Valley will climb to the upper 80s by late afternoon.
Thursday will be our warmest and windiest day, with highs in the mid 80s and near 90 in Ranch Country.
We'll get a little relief on Friday when a cold front cools us back down to the 70s.
