Residents of Hillsborough County, Florida say they have seen a wild monkey taking up residence in their neighborhood. Jeff Patterson reports.
(WFLA) There are new reports of monkey sightings in the Tampa Bay area.
This time, it appears a rhesus macaque is taking up residence in Apollo Beach.
Residents of Mira Bay began seeing and sometimes hearing the monkey about two weeks ago.
Angie Griffin says she's heard the monkey, but hasn't seen it yet.
"Well you know, like the old Tarzan movies, you hear jungle sounds early morning," said Griffin.
