Alabama tow truck driver describes the near-miss crash that nearly claimed his life. Darwin Singleton reports.
(WPMI) Death came calling Thursday morning on Interstate 10 in Mobile, Alabama and tow truck driver John Burton stepped out of it's way just in time.
Still, Burton did reach out and touch the skidding SUV that stuck a patch of ice just as he was loading a wrecked pickup onto his tow truck.
The incredible near-miss was captured by cameras from NBC affiliate WPMI.
"It looked like I tried to shove it," said Burton, viewing the video on a cell phone screen. " I don't remember touching it."
