BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Each week we bring you two pets looking for their forever home. This week, it's Jack and Jill.
"My name is Robert Dippong. I'm the supervisor for the Brownsville Animal Regulation and Care Center.
This is Jack and Jill. Their Chihuahua mixes. They're probably about six to eight weeks old. They're gonna be small dogs, probably less than ten pounds. They're gonna be good for any home, so they're during that stage right now where they can be trained and go ahead and grow with any children.
If they want to get a dog they always come in. We're here from eight to five, Monday thru Sunday. We have a website also, it's called www.petharbor.com . You can look on there and it takes, we take pictures of all the animals we have in the shelter and it's updated on an hourly base, in case they're looking for a lost pet or they're looking to adopt a pet, maybe they can find something on the website that interests them and they can go ahead and make the drive out here."
The new adoption rate for dogs is $106. The additional $10 fee pays for a test the facility conducts on the pets.
To contact the facility, call 956-544-7351.
