OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA — A former Oklahoma based doctor was brought back to the state to face murder charges.
Police arrested 71 year-old William Valuck at his home in Texas on Friday.
He is charged with nine counts of homicide and 43 counts of drug distribution.
Authorities say eight of his patients died of prescription overdoses and another patient was accused of causing a fatal traffic accident.
KFOR-TV reports in 2002, Valuck was convicted of money laundering, wire fraud and scheming to defraud investors of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
He spent several years in federal prison before being released and moving to Texas.
