BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — With temperatures in the 40's and the rain coming down on Monday firework stands struggled to make any sales.
The only cars in two Brownsville firework stand parking lots were the employee’s cars. Worker Eva Ramirez says it was a cold and wet Monday with no business.
"How many people have you seen come in today? Zero, because of the weather usually people don't like coming out when it’s cold like this or rainy."said Ramirez.
Ramirez says she is still keeping positive.
"We hope that even though it’s like this people will come out and buy fireworks and maybe popping them another day when it’s not rainy."said Ramirez.
