Snow and ice blamed for dozens of accidents near Flagstaff, Arizona. Krystle Henderson reports.
(KPNX) Weekend storms in Flagstaff, Arizona left roads slick with ice, causing a nightmare for drivers and a boom for tow truck companies.
"It's definitely a busy time for us, so the guys gear up for it," says Russ Kinkade of AM/PM Towing.
He says his business expects to get more calls than usual this year since the the City of Flagstaff has stopped using de-icer on its roads for environmental reasons.
Still, Kinkade says regardless of the new policy it's always busy early in the season.
"I noticed while doing this over the years that the first two storms of the season tend to create the most accidents."
