LONGVIEW, TX — One Good Shepherd Medical Center employee has been killed and another is in critcal condition following a stabbing on Tuesday morning.
It happened on the second floor of the hospital's Ambulatory Surgical Center at 703 East Marshall Avenue around 7:00 a.m.
Three visitors were also injured, but authorities tell KETK that they are in good condition.
The names of the people involved have not yet been released.
The details surrounding the stabbing are unclear, but Longview Police have the suspected stabber in custody. His name is also not being released at this time.
The second floor of the Ambulatory Surgical Center, where the stabbing occurred, has been closed for the time being. However, the other floors are open and are accepting patients.
