It's never to late to plan for New Years and that's what was being done with the City of McAllen.
City officials and the police department unveiled their plans for the 2010 New Years Eve Bash and Ball Drop. Officials say they will have 40 food booths, live bands and 21 clubs will be open on 17th street with a carnival on 15th street. The ball will take place on Main and Beaumont streets along 17th street and parking will be at the old Civic Center located on 10th and Expressway 83 and at the old Wal-Mart on 23rd and Nolana.
