Four accidents in just a couple hours Sunday, and all within just a couple miles on Interstate 35, just outside of Temple, Texas. The most serious was a nine-car pileup at the exit for Troy, TX.
On a couple mile stretch of a Texas Interstate Sunday, four car accidents happened, all within a couple of hours.
The most serious accident was a nine car pileup. Drivers say they came over a little hill and didn't have time to stop for the break lights ahead.
Traffic on the Interstate was already heavy because of earlier accidents and it appears that one accident merely lead to another.
While cars backed up for miles, most drivers were just thankful that no one was severely hurt.
"I actually just wrecked my car two weeks ago and the red truck is a rental. So, yeah, that's pretty bad."
"The only thing going through my head was are my wife and daughter going to be all right. They were in the car with me so it was a question of are the air bags going to deploy here. Is everybody ok?"
