More than 300 years after Blackbeard's death, several pieces believed to be from the wreckage of The Queen Anne's Revenge have been recovered. Clayton Bauman reports.
(WITN)Nearly 300 years after the death of the infamous pirate, Blackbeard, more of his artillery comes to the surface.
The North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources says five more cannons were raised from the wreckage of the Queen Anne's Revenge on Monday.
The ship sank off the coast of Beaufort centuries ago.
Four of the cannons weigh 2,000 pounds.
