Six weeks after raging flood waters swept through the town, residents of Glen Haven, Colorado are cleaning up and rebuilding. Dave Delozier reports.
(KUSA) The scars are still there. Six weeks after flood waters swept down Devils Gulch the town of Glen Haven is still digging out from under the debris.
"It is going to be a real long road," said. Doug Sager, a resident of Glenn Haven.
While the road to recovery will be long, the road leading into and out of town is not. Large sections of County Road 43 have been completely washed away making it impossible for some residents to return to their homes.
"We're very isolated. You can't get in up there unless you hike in," said Jeannie Meis, a Glen Haven resident.
