BROWNSVILLE, TX (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Return to Sender! That's another complication for those signing up for the Affordable Care Act in the Valley.
The day after enrollment began, NewsCenter 23 reported the difficulties that outreach and enrollment reps were having, at the Brownsville Community Health Center, getting into the online system to enroll people.
For that first week or so, they were forced to enroll people via paper copy. Turns out, officials say, the paper copy, which was downloaded from the healthcare.gov website, had the wrong return address.
Now a number of applications have been returned to sender, meanwhile the government has corrected the address on their paper copies.
