Mother arrested after allegedly spiking baby's bottle with ethanol. Andrea Marvin reports.
(WGRZ) An Orchard Park, New York mother is facing felony assault charges after allegedly spiking her baby's milk with ethanol.
36-year-old Kimberly Lawton did not say anything as she entered a preliminary court hearing Tuesday.
The young infant's biological father testified he had contacted Orchard Park Police with concerns before and asked for help.
The father explained at the stand that Lawton handed over the baby -- went back into the house -- then came out with the infants milk in a cooler.
That cooler was handed over to a detective waiting nearby and lab results confirmed there was a poisonous substance in the infant's milk.
