Tourists are flocking back to Yellowstone National Park, but local business owners are still hurting. Penny Preston reports.
(KCWY) Yellowstone National Park started welcoming people back Thursday morning after a 16 day closure prompted by the shutdown of the federal government.
Cars trickled in, and the people in them seemed happy to find the park open again.
Still, gateway communities surrounding the park lost a lot of money during the shutdown, in some cases tens of thousands of dollars.
