HARLINGEN, TX (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Harlingen police are investigating an early morning shooting which left a victim with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
On Thursday, October 17th at around 5:30 a.m. police were called to Valley Baptist Medical Center in reference to a 23 year-old man being treated for a gunshot wound.
Officers questioned the victim who stated that he was outside his home on the 1000 block of W. Hanson Street around 1 a.m. when up to five men approached him.
One of the five men then fired a handgun twice striking the victim in the upper shoulder. The shooter is described as having tattoos all over his arms and several black and white clover tattoos on his neck.
