High waters damage classrooms in Sealy, Texas.
(KPRC) Classes have been canceled at two Sealy ISD schools after flooding caused by the weekend's heavy rains.
Water came in through doorways at the building that houses Selman Intermediate, Sealy Junior High and the district's administration offices.
As a result, classes have been canceled for Monday, October 14 at those two campuses.
"It was just too much rain for the drains and gutters to handle and it did go into the building under the doors," said Sealy I.S.D. Superintendent Scott Kana. "We had no structural damage, no roof damage, no leakage. It was just too much water, too quick."
