EL PASO, TX (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — Most Department of Defense civilian employees are back to work after being furloughed and they finally know when they'll get paid.
Military officials at Fort Bliss in El Paso say all employees there will receive normal pay through the end of the month. The amount of pay for October 1st through 5th depends on whether an employee was exempt, excepted from furlough or furloughed.
Civilian employees will receive pay on normal pay dates beginning October 11th, as for those who were exempted from furlough, they will receive their regular pay.
