BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Custom and Border Protection officers, working the Gateway port of entry, seized several packages of cocaine.
On Thursday, September 5th, officers came into contact with the driver of tan 2001 Ford Ranger.
The driver, a 38 year-old American citizen residing in Brownsville, was referred to a secondary inspection for further questioning.
During the search of the vehicle, CBP officers found five packages, of alleged cocaine, hidden within the truck.
The packages weighed over eleven pounds and the estimated street value was at $371,200.
