In San Benito, the man accused of holding up a convenience store at gunpoint went before a judge to face charges.
Paul Burnett Jr. was charged with aggravated robbery, which is a first degree felony, of a Stripes store on Sam Houston and got away with $30 dollars. Burnett confessed to robbing the store because he needed money for marijuana and beer to continue his late night partying. If convicted, Burnett could face anywhere from 5 to 99 years in prison.
