HIDALGO CITY, TEXAS (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a Mission man, at a port of entry, wanted for homicide.
On Monday, July 8 CBP officers, working the Hidalgo International port of entry, came in contact with Francisco Javier Gonzalez, 31, a resident of the City of Mission as a pedestrian.
Gonzalez was sent to a secondary inspection where it was revealed that he had a possible active arrest warrant for homicide in Hidalgo County.
The warrant was confirmed and Gonzalez was arrested and handed over to the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office.
