BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — A woman is charged with motor vehicle theft and child endangerment after being caught driving in a stolen truck.
U.S. Customs agents stopped a 2006 Ford F250, attempting to cross into Mexico, after noticing damage to the steering column and the drivers door key entry.
The truck, driven by Maria Antonia Saldana, 31, and accompanied by a 3 year-old child, had been reported stolen from the 1100 block of E. Los Ebanos Road.
Agents questioned Saldana who confessed to officers that she and three other subjects were involved in the theft of the vehicle.
