Massive tornado destroys Granbury, Texas.
(NBC News) At least six people are dead and seven are still missing after a tornado outbreak ripped across parts of north Texas Wednesday night.
The National Weather Service says as many as ten tornados swept across the area.
Evidence of the violent storm is scattered for miles.
Initial reports from the National Weather Service indicate the storm that hit Granbury was an EF-4, with winds of up to 200 miles an hour.
The morning light confirmed, what many feared overnight.
"I've seen some bad ones in my day, so I knew this was going to be one of the worst I've ever seen...and it was," said Hood County Sheriff Roger Deeds.
