WESLACO, TX (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — Weslaco police are searching for a wanted suspect involved in a burglary of a building.
Police are looking for Carlos Olivares, 19, who is accused of breaking into a storage shed on East Opal Drive on May 5th in Weslaco.
During his escape from the property he was shot by the resident of the home with a shotgun.
He later received medical attention at a Cameron County hospital for buckshot wounds and he has not been seen since and believed to be in the Progreso area.
Police describe him as 5'7", weighing 120 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, medium complexion, thin build and a mustache.
