NATIONAL (NEWS CENTER 23) — New reports show gas prices are changing America's attitude toward fuel efficiency as it continues cutting into our wallets.
New research from the Consumer Federation of America says consumers are demanding more fuel efficient cars and alternative fuel vehicles.
The report reveals a large majority of American's support government requirements to increase fuel economy in new cars to 35-miles-per-gallon by 2017 and to an average of 55-miles-per-gallon by 2025.
