Tiny crash survivor gets major help in her campaign for car-seat safety.
(KUSA) One week after Monserrat Arenas survived a serious car accident, she launched a mission to urge her classmates to wear seat belts and use proper car seats. One week later, the first grader is receiving help she never imagined.
"It's a miracle that somebody saw this and they were like, okay we're going to help," Maria Pedrozna, Monserrat's mother, said.
The Graco car seat company heard about Monserrat's mission offered to help. It sent 50 brand new car seats to the school.
