There's possible movement today on the boy scouts controversial anti-gay policy.
The group announced today, a proposal that would lift the band on gay scouts, but not on gay scout leaders. The scout's 1,400 member national council will vote on the proposal in may.
Earlier this year, scout executives said they were considering a plan to give local scout units the option of admitting gays as both youth members and adult leaders or continuing to exclude them.
The group says it changed course in part because of feedback from its members.
