A little rain this weekend didn't stop kiddos from enjoying nature.
Over 500 Cub Scouts gathered at Camp Perry in Rio Hondo for their Cub Adventure weekend. This year's theme was "Leave No Trace" which is an important part of scouting. Boy Scouts from Troop 1 in Brownsville took the kids on camp hikes and explained to them the different points of the leave no trace program. Tips such as planning your hike to taking your trash and leaving no trace of you being there.
