Police in California have a suspect in custody after a high speed chase through the San Fernando Valley and into Ventura county.
The chase, started Friday morning, and finally ended in Thousand Oaks. Officials say it started when the driver of a silver Mitsubishi refused to stop for authorities. An officer eventually rammed the rear end of the suspects vehicle causing him to lose control .
The police cruiser then crashed into the side of the Mitsubishi bringing it to a stop.
The suspect is facing charges of evading police speeding and reckless driving.
