IRVING, TX (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — KXAS is reporting that there are two fatalities in the charter bus crash in Irving, Texas in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
They are also saying that 30 people have been transported to various hospitals and a triage area has been set up to determine victims injuries.
Irving emergency crews were called to a major bus accident this morning.
Initial reports indicate that a bus rolled over on on State Highway 161/President George Bush Turnpike near Belt Line Rd.
All lanes of the freeway on State Highway 161/President George Bush Turnpike between Belt Line and a tollbooth are being shut down.
Indications are that the bus is a private charter belonging to Cardinal Coach Line in Mansfield, TX.
