EDINBURG, TX (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — The University of Texas-Pan American is now offering a program designed to help physicians develop better operating health care practices.
The Office of Continuing Education initiated the Executive Practice Management Certificate Program which specifically help doctors and other health care practice managers develop hands-on knowledge in operating their business.
The start date for the program is May 18 will offer curriculum on critical components of business ownership not taught within medical programs. The program includes case study modules over three weeks with three hour long class sessions on Saturday afternoons.
Physicians and other healthcare practice managers interested in the program are invited to attend an information session on April 16, 6-8 p.m. at UTPA's McAllen Teaching Site, located at 1800 S. Main Street, Suite 1100, in McAllen.
