BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — The body of a male was found in the river today by Border Patrol agents.
The fire department was called to remove the body, which had no identificatiion, from the river. Detectives have ordered an autopsy report to determine the cause of death but they are considering the case a drowning.
Authorities have identified the body found in the river as Jario Paz Alvarado, 19, from Honduras and had been deported from the U.S. in 2012. A preliminary autopsy reports the cause of death to be drowning.
