AUSTIN, TEXAS (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — Texas State Representative Jason Villalba has filed House Bill 1976, which would prohibit a school district from continuing to pay a teacher, whose contract was terminated for good cause.
The bill prohibits school districts from paying those offenders beyond the first appeal saving school districts money and enabling the district to use those funds for the benefits of the students.
