AUSTIN, TEXAS (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — The Department of Public Safety has unveiled a new section to it's website which is dedicated to solving cold case murders. The section features two cases from each of the state's six DPS regions and the cases featured in the top 12 will be changed periodically.
DPS officials say they want to send a clear message that they continue to investigate and gather information on murdered victims and maybe the public can help provide new information or leads in those cases.
