Family's only transportation taken while 5-year-old was receiving treatment.
A family spending the night at the Cancer Care Alliance facility in Seattle, Washington last week was devastated when thieves went into a secure garage and left with the family's car.
"There's no words it's just flabbergasting," said Heather Hultberg, whose daughter Lilly is facing her third bout with leukemia.
"We come here every week for treatment and see doctors and clinics throughout Seattle," said Heather Hultberg.
5-year-old Lilly has been fighting cancer bravely since she was 11 weeks old.
"She's stable, she's doing the best she can do," said Hultberg.
Losing the Honda Pilot is an inconvenience, but Hultberg feels the sting of knowing someone would target people at a cancer facility. Even Lilly is a little frustrated.
"She's more upset that her toys had been taken, more upset that she had written out valentines for her doctors and nurses, more upset that those were gone, you know," said Hultberg.
