MEXICO CITY, MEXICO (NEWS CENTER 23) — The family of slain customs enforcement agent Jaime Zapata is suing Zapata's supervisors for negligence.
Along with US gun shops an armored vehicle company and more than 20 defendents in all.
The 75 million dollar suit was filed tuesday but was changed yesterday.
Zapata was killed and a second agent was injured when they were ambushed on a highway in San Luis Potosi.
They were in an armored car when they were run off of the road and attacked by ghunmen in two vehicles.
One of the accused shooters is awaiting trial.
