BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (KVEO NEWS CENTER 23) — Love was in the air at the Cameron County courthouse on Valentine's Day as Justice of the Peace Linda Salazar preformed several wedding ceremonies. Her courtroom was decorated with balloons and flowers, by her staff, for the special day and Justice Salazar performed eight wedding ceremonies for couples, "People love the 14th day of Valentine's and it means something they won't forget each year and that's why they decide to get married."
All together, sixteen marriages occurred on Thursday at the courthouse.
