Autistic student sold sugar to fellow students, telling them it was drugs.
Michael Pence, an autistic student attending Saint Marys Memorial High School in St. Marys, Ohio, claims he has nothing more than a sweet tooth, and his secret sugar rush concoction landed him behind bars.
Michael was detained in a juvenile detention facility for two days after allegedly attempting to sell a counterfeit substance.
He was released Wednesday morning and his parents are not happy with the school's one-size-fits-all, zero tolerance policy.
Michael is currently receiving his homework from the school and as of right now the family has not determined what his education future will be and where he will finish out his high school years.
Calls made to the school were not returned.
