CAMERON COUNTY, TEXAS (NEWS CENTER 23) — Cameron County commissioners have selected a new Chief Park Ranger who will oversee the newly re-established Park Ranger Department.
After interviewing six candidates for the position commissioners voted 4-1 to hire Horacio Zamora, a former Cameron County constable for Precinct 1, and he will oversee all of the parks in the county including those on South Padre Island and Arroyo City.
