RIO GRANDE VALLEY, TEXAS (NEWS CENTER 23) — Gas prices are rising, both nationally and in the Valley, and a recent report from AAA show the average price per gallon for regular unleaded gas in Texas is $3.24. The national average is $3.42 per gallon and the Valley average is at $3.20 per gallon and speculators say the price could soon reach up to $4.00 per gallon in states like California.
