MCALLEN, TEXAS (NEWS CENTER 23) — McAllen leadership delivered the state of the city address Thursday in front of hundreds who attended the event. The event took place at the McAllen Convention Center.
This year's theme was named "Future challenges: McAllen's next steps."
During the event there was a special presentation by a dance group from India. Mayor Cortez also discussed the city's accomplishments, future challenges, and new projects.
