RIO GRANDE VALLEY, TEXAS (NEWS CENTER 23) — Every year Fortune Magazine lists the top best places to work and one of those companies operates here in the Valley and Teach for America made the list for a third time. It's the organization's goal to give quality education to all types of students across the country, but this honor wasn't given because of the teachers, it actually comes from the TFA staff.
Robert Carreon, from Teach for America, commented on making the list saying, "They looked at the quality of work experience that people have, and they did that through interviews, both anonymous and sort of in person conversations, and then they also looked at the benefits and what essentially Teach for America provides to all of our staff members across the country."
TFA employs more than 2,000 people across the country and they are hiring. For more information on employment positions visit: http://www.teachforamerica.org/
