BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS (NEWS CENTER 23) — The Brownsville/South Padre Island International airport is in it's second phase of a study to determine whether to expand, renovate or rebuild the airport due to it's growing needs. In the meantime, the airport has announced that additional flights have been added for such carriers as United, American and Aero Mexico airlines.
