WASHINGTON, D.C. — As a member of the U.S. House Appropriations Committee, Congressman Henry Cuellar (D-Laredo) on Tuesday will bring Washington D.C. to the Rio Grande Valley by hosting a multi-city video grants conference to inform constituents about the latest in the grant application process. Congressman Cuellar and speakers from various federal grant agencies and organizations will present live via videoconference at the University of Texas Pan American.
Presenters include the Congressional Research Service, Grants.gov, and the Foundation Center. The workshop is a great opportunity to learn how the federal grants process works and to become knowledgeable of the tools and resources available to facilitate the application process. The video conference will also connect attendees from the San Antonio, Laredo, and Pleasanton areas. The event is free and it is open to the public.
