McAllen, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Three former law enforcement officers involved in a drug escorting case were back in federal court today.
Jonathan Trevino, Alexis Espinoza and Gerardo Duran were arraigned by U.S.. Magistrate Judge Dorina Ramos.
The men were former members of the disbanded drug task force unit called the 'Panama Unit.' They were taken into custody by federal authorities in December .
The three men all pleaded not guilty to their charges.
The fourth suspect, Fabian Rodriguez, was arraigned earlier this week and also pleaded not guilty.
