Public Health Department Treating Standing Water Against Mosquitoes

With all the moisture around, after several days of rain, residents will be seeing more mosquitoes. The Public Health Department in Brownsville is attacking those pests by looking for areas of standing, water that can serve as a breeding ground for the mosquitoes, and injecting chemicals which prevent mosquito eggs from hatching. Residents are encouraged to beware of areas of standing water on their property and to dry them up if possible.
