Secretary of State Hillary Clinton hospitalized with blood clot.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will stay in the hospital at least until Wednesday.
Doctors say she's developed a blood clot stemming from a concussion she suffered earlier this month when she fainted, fell and hit her head.
In early December Clinton picked up a stomach virus, causing dehydration that led to a fall, concussion, and now the potentially dangerous clot.
Over the last four years Clinton has logged more than a million miles flying around the world on diplomatic missions, which doctors say could have contributed to the clot.
Experts say the hospital stay will help ensure that she's reacting positively to the blood thinners being used to treat the clot.
